LNER Trains run services along the East Coast Main Line and frequently run trains from cities such as Edinburgh,

Scotrail provides an express rail service direct to Aberdeen from many major cities.

By Air:

​

Aberdeen International Airport is located just six miles from Aberdeen city centre.

​

The region is well connected globally with daily flights to all major airports including London Heathrow.

The international airport also has many direct routes from major UK cities as well as many key European destinations.

By Sea:

​

Aberdeen Ferry Terminal is located at Jamieson's Quay directly across from the shopping centre, Union Square and the

Aberdeen Railway Station.

 

The centrally located harbour is where ferries travel regularly to/from the Scottish Isles, Orkney and Shetland.

Getting around Aberdeen:

​

SBPR will be providing coach travel to/from the city centre (Sandman Hotel) to the RGU on Thursday and Friday.

Please book your place when registering.

If you prefer to be more flexible: 

​

First Group, an international rail and bus company with its headquarters in Aberdeen, operate a high frequency network of services across the city while Stagecoach Bluebird's buses link the towns and villages in Aberdeenshire.

​

Grasshopper passes are available in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council, Stagecoach and FirstBus.

Please note this pass is best used when hopping on and off the bus within a zone, and single destination tickets may sometimes be a cheaper option.
